The problem is usually after the ad, not the ad itself: the offer, how fast someone follows up, or what happens on the call. Marketing magnifies whatever is already there. If follow-up is slow or the offer is unclear, more leads just means more people slipping through.
1. Check how fast leads hear from you
Speed to lead is the single biggest lever in fitness marketing. The longer a lead waits, the colder they get. Set up an automatic text and email that goes out within 60 seconds, then call as soon as you can.
2. Check the offer
Can you say what the offer is in one sentence? The trial, the price, and what happens next should be obvious. If people have to call to find out what they are signing up for, many will not.
3. Check the call
Use a script. Pre-qualify the lead, gather what your coach needs to know, and confirm the trial before you hang up. A call that ends without a booked next step is a lead you paid for and lost.
4. Check that the landing page matches the ad
If the ad promises one thing and the page talks about something else, people leave. The page should repeat the ad promise and ask for one clear action.
What not to do
Do not raise the ad budget to make up for it. If your offer is not converting, more ad spend will not fix it.
